The Role
As this venues continues to grow, they're seeking a strong manager to lead daily restaurant operations and event execution. As the Restaurant and Functions Manager you will oversee the smooth delivery of daily restaurant service and coordinate the successful execution of functions and events. This hands-on leadership role involves supervising and training front-of-house staff, managing bookings and service standards, and ensuring compliance with food safety and licensing regulations.
Skills and Experience
Along with your professionalism and drive to create memorable dining experiences to the local community, you will have the following attributes and more;
- 3+ years in a hospitality management role (Restaurant, Club, Cafe or Hotel)
- RSA and Safe Food Handling certifications
- Confident team leadership and staff development skills - Outgoing personality
- Strong organisational and communication abilities - this is a hands on role, 1 day of admin
- Experience managing functions, rosters, financials and daily operations
- Able to work a rotating roster including days, nights, weekends and public holidays
